My name is Bradley Hendricks and I teach Introductory Latin and High School Level Latin courses at White Knoll Middle School in South Carolina.
I have an MA in History and a BA in History and Classical Studies. In both capacities I studied many aspects of the ancient world including History, Latin and Greek Languages and Literature, and Ancient Christianity and other ancient religions. My broader base in History also qualifies me to teach a variety of History courses, including AP US History. I taught AP US History and fulfilled other teaching duties as a long-term substitute at Golda Och Academy from April - June 2013.
This page includes various parts that will allow the visitor to learn more about me and what I can offer to students at the secondary or college level. Some of the content of this page is in easily downloadable files, such as my CV, available below.

There are five main elements to this page. Three speak primarily to my ability to teach classroom subjects: Latin, Greek, and History. Another page shows my experience as a tutor in Wyk, a town in northern Germany. The final page shows my research, which combines my interests in Latin and History. The History portion includes a sampling of courses that I could teach, as well as some downloadable materials which give examples of projects and presentations that I have used or will use in my classes. Of course, these materials are ever-progressing and could be modified if appropriate depending on the needs of a school where I teach.
The Latin portion of the site includes a discussion of the different Latin classes I have taught, including examples of materials I have used. Of course, these are once again examples which could be changed according to the needs of specific classes. Links to websites which can be used to supplement course materials are also provided. I use this space to chronicle my experience as a Latin teacher and learner, including a brief description of some of the works I have read in advanced Latin classes as well.
My research section consists of papers that I have delivered at conferences over the years. If you happen to find them useful or would like to contact me about them, either use the form which is provided on this page, or use my contact information, given below. Although I have provided a contact form, please use e-mail for any important correspondence.
Thank you for your time in looking over this site.
