My name is Bradley Hendricks and I have an MA in History and a BA in History and Classical Studies.  In both capacities I studied the ancient world in many of its aspects including History, Latin and Greek Languages and Literature, and Ancient Christianity and other Ancient Religions.  My broader base in History also qualifies me to teach a variety of History courses, including AP US History.  I have been teaching AP US History and fulfilling other teaching duties as a long-term substitute at Golda Och Academy since April 15, 2013.  This position is scheduled to last until late June.
This page includes various aspects that will allow the visitor to learn more about me and what I contribute to a secondary or college level school.  Some of the content of this page is in easily downloadable files, such as my CV, available below.

There are five main elements to this page.  Three speak primarily to my ability to teach classroom subjects: Latin, Greek, and History.  Another page shows my experience as a tutor in Wyk, a town in northern Germany.  The final page shows my research, which combines my interests in Latin and History.  The History portion includes a sampling of courses that I could teach, as well as some downloadable materials which give examples of projects and PowerPoints that I have used or will use in my classes.  Of course, these materials are ever-progressing and could be modified if appropriate depending on the needs of a school at which I would teach.
The Latin portion of the site includes materials that I have used in class or may use in the future.  Of course, these are once again examples which could be changed according to the needs of specific classes.  Links to websites which can be used to supplement course materials are also provided.  I use this space to chronicle my experience as a Latin learner and instructor, including brief reviews of textbooks that I have used as a student or teacher.
My research section consists of papers that I have delivered at conferences over the years.  If you happen to find them useful or would like to contact me about them, either use the form which is provided on this page, or use my contact information, given below.  Although I have provided a contact form, please use e-mail for any important correspondence.
Thank you for your time in looking over this site.
